Amanda was born in New York and raised in the Baltimore-Washington metropolitan area. She comes from a family of New Yorkers and entrepreneurs who value family, hard work, loyalty and respect. From a young age, Amanda was taught to be kind, hustle, adapt and overcome obstacles to make her visions become her reality. She has always been an entrepreneur at heart.
In 2015, Amanda moved to south Florida with a vision to launch her legal career. Amanda has several years of litigation experience representing business owners, small and medium-sized businesses, and also million/billion-dollar corporations in various legal disputes including breach of contract, commercial liability, construction litigation, Florida Consumer Collection Practices Act (“FCCPA”) claims, Florida Deceptive and Unfair Trade Practices (“FDUPTA”) claims, general liability, negligence, premises liability, products liability and vicarious liability defense. Amanda’s strategic mindset, strong negotiation skills and persuasiveness gives clients the confidence that they can trust Amanda to advocate on their behalf and meet their business needs.
In addition to practicing law, Amanda also has a passion for real estate. She is a majority shareholder of a real estate investment company that specializes in land and wholesaling and flipping properties. She has negotiated various real estate investment deals in both Florida and Colorado. Amanda’s personal experience in and ability to creatively structure real estate investments has allowed her to expand her legal practice to include commercial real estate investment transactions.
Amanda has been especially involved and active in The Florida Bar, The Florida Bar Young Lawyers Division (YLD), and the Young Lawyers Section of the Broward County Bar Association, serving in leadership roles on several committees, board of governors and board of directors since she began practicing. While in law school, Amanda served as The Florida Bar YLD Law Student Division President in 2017-2018, where she worked to further the goals of The Florida Bar and helped prepare law students for the true rigors of practicing law. She also served on several honors organizations including Law Review, Moot Court, and Nova Trial Association, and was President of the First Generation Professionals Legal Society (FGPLS).
Amanda is licensed to practice law in Florida state and federal courts and is an NSU Alumni. Amanda remains actively involved in community service, legal and community engagement in various professional organizations including the American Inns of Court, Broward Real Estate Investors Association (BREIA), Broward County Bar Association, and the mentorship of law students. She also mentors young lawyers and passionately believes in giving back by helping others reach their infinite potential.
Amanda’s hobbies include exercising, meditation, star gazing, beach days with family and friends, traveling and watching football. She also loves animals and supports animal conservation.
